For a brief moment this morning, I intellection Ghost of Tsushima could be coming to PC before long. You might have thought the identical if you read one of several reports pointing exterior that an updated version of the secret plan's box art has dropped the 'Only on PlayStation' branding that Sony has used for years to mean exclusives. Unluckily, the minor branding change is probably as mundane as it appears, and we shouldn't take this as a house that Ghost of Tsushima PC is in the works.

Every of this speculation seems to stem from a single Reddit thread (since labeled 'Dishonorable' by mods) posted yesterday to r/GamingLeaksAndRumours that pointed verboten the box art change on both Amazon and Sony's formalized website.

The change is revealing when you deal that Days Gone and Horizon: Zip Dawn (two Sony games that came to PC) also dropped their exclusive branding, but as numerous commenters repoint out in the thread, Sony has been phasing out the 'Only happening PlayStation' badge since the PS5's establish. Several of Sony's much recent exclusives that seem the least likely to come in to PC anytime soon too lack the badge, including Demon's Souls and Rachet and Clank: Rift Apart.

Thusly, yeah, Ghost of Tsushima doesn't own the exclusivity badge anymore, but that doesn't build its Microcomputer release any more prospective than Ratchet and Clangour, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, or all the other PlayStation exclusives PC gamers want to play.

The speculation and upheaval make sense, though. Sony recently bespoken to cathartic more games on PC in the future. Shortly ago, no one would even consider the possibility that Sony was hinting at a PC outlet from incomparable of its first-party studios. These days, however, anything is negotiable for a PC version at some point. The descending of the 'Only on PlayStation' badge shouldn't be taken too seriously, but it is a teensy-weensy admonisher that the gloves are completely hit when IT comes to what games we can play on which corner. Heck, Sony's MLB The Show 21 came unfashionable on Xbox this year, and on Game Pass away, no less.

If there's a real sign that Ghost of Tsushima's PC release is imminent someday in the future, we'll be sure to let you love.
